    1) The magnitude of the earthquake was 7.8. It impacted the city of Kathmandu the most. Other areas that got impacted as well were Northern India, Tibet, Bangladesh, and Mount Everest. 2) To help prepare people there for an earthquake. They were sure there was going to be an earthquake, but the miscalculated the time the earthquake was going to happen. 3) Nepal is so prone to earthquakes because they are at the junction of the Indian and Eurasian plate and the collision that caused the Himalayas is why they have earthquakes all the time. They're tremors are worse because they are an impoverished country which makes the country not able to rebuild everything because they do not have the money.

    1) The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry announced there were more elements to the periodic table. So now there is 118 elements in the periodic table. 2) In 1869 by Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev. The first table had 59 elements. They're organized by how many protons are in each of it's atomic nucleus. 3) The reason we are unable to find naturally occurring examples is because the elements are extremely heavy and, therefore, decay quickly. To be considered for the periodic table the new element has to reproduced by another scientist working in a non-affiliated laboratory. (Critical Thinking) The reason why it would be hard to create new elements is because they were unable to find naturally occurring examples because the elements are extremely heavy and, therefore, decay quickly.

1# Hanger is when you get impatient or irritated when you don't have enough glucose because you haven't eaten enough. The brain panics when you don't have enough glucose because the brain rely's on glucose so when the levels are low it panics. 2# The brain sends instructions to organs to release a hormone giving the bloodstream more glucose . 3# Scientists think hanger could be genetic because they said "If our predecessors just stood back and politely let others get to the food before them, there is a good chance that they may not have gotten enough to eat, and they would have died."

1# The spinal cord injuries are hard to repair because the sensory nerve cells in the nervous system do not regenerate. Geoffrey Raiman's big breakthrough was that he discovered that the OEC's inside the nasal were constantly regenerating. 2# Surgeons obtained Fidyka's OEC's by extracting them from the olfactory bulb. Then they put it in the damaged part of the spinal cord. 3# The passage said Fidyka's spine is showing signs of healing remarkably well. The former fireman who has regained muscle mass on his left thigh can now partially move his lower limbs and feel sensation in both legs. So that tells that it was successful. Geoffrey Raiman's ultimate aim is to develop the procedure to a point where it can be rolled out as a worldwide general approach.
