I recommend this book for teens, it has a lot of big words kids wouldn’t understand. I enjoyed it, it had a good plot but the conflict was a bit strange for a book about war. It has some sad moments but it turned into a happy ending.Over 7 years agoalexhod1617 has read this book.

I read the book American Ace written by Marilyn Nelson. It takes place at Connor’s school and home. This book is unique because it is not written like other books. It’s written like a bunch of poems. Connor’s dad taught him how to drive when he was in Middle School. When Connor’s grandmother died, his dad found a letter from her that said his dad was not his real father. When Conner found out about this he tried to find information about his real grandfather. He did this because he wanted to make his dad happy again. Connor found out that his real grandfather was a pilot during World War II. I think that if you like to read about history then you will like this book. There was some adventure. I think Middle School kids would like this book because Connor was in Middle School.Almost 8 years agoalexhod1617 added a book review.
Imagine, you’re one of the last in your kind. And all you can do is hide for the rest of your life, just to keep the relic out of the wrong hands. A conflict in this book (the protagonist) relic master Galen Harn is being hunted by antagonist, the Watch. The Watch is a group who wants all the relics to themselves. With Raffi by his side,The turning point is when they are captured by the Order. All the order wants is gold. Another conflict is when the order makes a deal with Galen and Raffi. They could go to Sekoi in Tascoron and get the relic back or they could stay there. This Book takes place in the fictional land of Anara in the early 1700s. This book is called the Relic Master book one, The Dark City by Cathrine Fisher. I recommend this book to those who like fantasy, magic and violenceAlmost 8 years agoalexhod1617liked a comment in I Survived the Sinking of the Titanic, 1912.
I survived is a popular series written by no one other than, Lauren Tarshis. Join George and his family for a destination of a lifetime. In this book you will experience many elements to a story, action, suspense, and tragedy. George, a middle classed person. Not wealthy, but certainly not poor. His grandfather died last year after his mother’s death and he, his sister Phoebe, and his grandmother are going to board the Titanic. Onwards, to meet their father. George is a troubled child, he would find himself into the wrong place every day, and his father, being somewhat strict. Would send George to military school. The main conflict is now up to George not to get himself into trouble and survive this luxury ship. Join George and his family on their journey onto the Titanic. From where the luxury turns into danger….. I would recommend this book to people who are interested by the titanic and wants to learn more from this historical fiction novel.Almost 8 years agomarvan1617 has read this book.
