This book helps me a lot by inspiring me to take action on the pollution of air and water. This book simply explains how did human contribute to the air and water pollution level and shows the effect of it by a combination of image and information. After reading this book, I think the main reason that caused the pollution of air and water are coal burning and oil spilling. As a conclude, in order to improve the air and water quality, the government should consider moving the industrial factories to where air movement cannot carry pollutants away and we should ride bicycles more often. Also, factories and towns should treat their own waste and deal with the industrial effluents they emitted to the ocean.

As Greg's mom spur of the moment of starting a family road trip, the whole family seems unhappy except for Greg's mom and Greg's younger brother, Manny. With unhappiness, the family trip officially started. However, it started as a disaster. And obviously, it will end as a disaster too. In this book, I think the funniest part of this book is the cheese curl affair. This affair all started with Greg's own decision and the result ends horribly which shocked Greg, his family and also the readers. Every disaster this family road trip met is extremely funny. However, while reading this book, I learned a lesson of trying your best on reversing situation when it seems impossible.

I think the most interesting part of this book which I like most is the plot Greg strives to get attention from a girl he likes, Holly Hills. Holly Hills is the fourth prettiest girl in Greg's grade and is single. Every boy tries to get attention from her. Greg thinks he is the best people he had ever met, so he always thinks some weird plan to show off in front of Holly. The attitude I appreciate Greg is that even though every plan he conceived had failed, he tries it one more time with another method. Overall, this book taught me a lesson of keep striving, doing our best and insist on affairs we are interested in. I recommend this book to people who likes to read humor books and people who lost their confidence because the more time you try, the closer you can success.

I recommend this book to people who likes reading adventuring, detective and fantasy book.
