9 billion tons of plastic!! I am a local worker who picks up trash of the ground! What is the point of putting our trash in a trash can it just goes to a place with lots of trash?

my fear is that this stuff might end up in our plastic before it is even used

that seems really bad. I have always been trying not to do that and to recycle

This could potentially destroy our uses of plastic, causing many companies to retract and cost themselves billions of dollars. Not a bad way to kill plastic, but yet it’ll cost us a lot.
