Gathering Blue is a powerful fantasy novel that led me to reflect on the roles we play in our communities. I appreciate the author's strongf multidimensional main characters and willingness to create believable risks for them. This conclusion of the Harry Potter series was largely satisfying. Although the pacing of the first 200 pages was a tad slow at times, the many evocative scenes in this novel made the pacing a minor issue for me.
