I never knew whale can be this fun to learn about. Also it really cool!!!!!!!!No, I don't think that orcas in the wild will be able to pick up human words as easily as Wikie because they are not used to having a trainer, or even being surrounded by humans for most of their life. Wikie is used to mimicking her trainer and so she did during the process of learning the human words. "Wikie, who has spent most of her life at the aquatic park, is accustomed to mimicking her trainer’s actions in exchange for fish." This quote explains how Wikie has been at an aquatic park for most of her life, therefore, has always been surrounded and she is used to humans. Orcas in the wild are almost never around humans and have never been rewarded for mimicking anything, therefore, would not be able to learn human words as easily as Wikie. Animals can feel emotions just as humans can so that's why we need to protect them! Also can you please teach her to say my name!!
