Loved it! I’ve read the book and watched the movie! It’s one of my favorites! It’s about a ten year old named August (Auggie). He doesn’t look normal and has a hard time at school. Watch the movie to find out more

Wonder is an amazing movie (also originally a book) that tackles the problem of acceptance. It is a movie that takes place in present day, in a school named ¨Beecher Preparatory School ¨ and the main character’s home. The story revolves around August, or Auggie, Pullman. Auggie is a boy with a facial deformity. However, it shows how Auggie is not the only one facing challenges. His family must also persevere through many obstacles. The film starts of by introducing us to the August. He has been homeschooled for most of his life. This will be his first year of school, and he is starting fifth grade. The story focuses on the problems he and other characters face, such as bullying. There are also many new friends Auggie makes. I think the movie was wonderful. My favorite character in the movie was Auggie. The movie also covers the important topic of acceptance. There are many sad scenes, but many hilarious ones too! Though I felt melancholy, he knows the right thing to say. This causes many funny scenes in the movie. I think everyone should watch this movie. It is an important motion picture that teaches viewers to accept others for who they are. As Mr. Tuschman stated, “Auggie can’t change the way he looks. Maybe we can change the way we see.”(Wonder).

I loved this movie, and it made tears fall down my cheeks at several points in the movie, (Yes, I cry in movie theaters sometimes if the movie is amazing and emotional) but I am not going to say those parts so I won't spoil it for you. I watched it again after that at my library. This movie has a lot of good messages for people, like don't judge people on how they look and one you start being friends with someone stay loyal to them. There's perfect music for this movie and they add in stuff that would be in a kid's life-one of the important scenes taking place on Minecraft. Once again, I will say this movie is amazing and I think it deserves five popcorn. Even if you don't like a lot of movies, watch this one, because you are sure to like it!

This movie was a relatively good movie, and the producers paid much attention to small details that really enhanced the movie (for example, they edited the camera out of the helmet of an astronaut suit in one scene). However, I feel like the movie lacked two things that were key that the book had: many different perspectives and important, special details. The book had many different perspectives told from many different people, like Justin, Auggie, and Via. However, the movie lacked some of the perspectives like Justin's perspective. The movie also cut out many important details from the book. While the story is great, it is too long for a movie. I applaud the effort of the filmmakers, and I additionally strongly recommend the book.

The movie "Wonder" is about a autism boy who has not been to a public school with other kids. He finally gets the chance to meet other kids and make friends.
