Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
After his retirement is interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods, Thor Odinson enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who now wields Mjolnir as the Mighty Thor. Thor, Love and Thunder, honestly was chaotic! And not in the good way... There is a man, traveling with his dying daughter, without food, shelter, and extra clothes, who's daughter quickly dies. Later, he meets the god of his religion, whom of which laughs in his face for struggling. He is quick to get mad at this 'god' and becomes what he soon gets called, "Gorr the God Butcher." At the other end of this, Jane Foster is dying from stage four cancer, and Thor is mourning over this. But Thor then has to help his friends with fighting Gorr. Right before a fight, he's in 'New Asgard,' where his broken hammer is sitting as a piece of remembrance, but soon, Jane is able to get out of the hospital, after her day's treatment is over, and grabs the hammer, with special powers. Soon after the fight, Thor takes Jane back into the hospital, but the doctor says, "something is stopping the treatment from working," Thor immediately knows that that was the hammer's doing. He tells her time after time, not to use the hammer, but she insists, which at the end of the movie, she dies, right as Gorr got talked to, turned away from being 'Gorr the God Butcher,' and he gets to make a wish, and he wishes for his daughter back, but he died, too, and asked now "Uncle Thor," to take care of her, which he does. At the very end of the movie she draws on his axe. My personal opinion was that the actors were amazing, but the plot made me cringe. Thank you for reading!!
