Racing Stripes (2005)

Shattered illusions are hard to repair -- especially for a good-hearted zebra named Stripes who's spent his life on a Kentucky farm amidst the sorely mistaken notion that he's a debonair thoroughbred. Once he faces the fact that his stark stripes mark him as different, he decides he'll race anyway. And with help from the young girl who raised him, he just might end up in the winner's circle.

At first the circus forgot to take the little zebra and accidentally left him on the rode. A man was driving and almost drove over him but he saw the poor little zebra. So he took him. When he brought him back he showed his daughter and the barn animals. The daughter begged to keep the zebra and her dad said yes.She called him stripes. Next part..........Stripes grew up.He always raced the mail man.He wanted to be a race horse but didn't know that he was a zebra until two best friends that were horses told him. And the guy that rescued him told his daughter that it was dangerous to ride the zebra.Oh almost forgot he liked a girl horse that was white and she liked him back. He was really mad that he was a zebra because he thought that he was a race horse. But there was one pony that thought him to believe in himself that he can be a race horse. One day the daughter asked if she can ride the zebra to work because the barn animals broke her motorcycle and made a flat tire on her dads car.She asked if she can and he said okay. After work she went onto the race track and Stripes ran but a guy was timing them and he said to the girl you and your zebra should be in the race. So they trained and the pony taught Stripes everything he could! THE.BIG.DAY.ARRIVED! So they got onto the race track and into those cage things and shut them. Before they knew it they heard GOOOOOOOOOOO! Oh and his crush came to watch him.At first they were in the back but got in the front by his enemy that made fun of him.And just before you know it Stripes won.So they went into the prize circle or what ever its called.Stripes got a medal and flowers on him but instead of keeping it on him he gave it to the pony because he was the one that made him believe him in his self and taught him everything he could. PICTURE TIME!!! SNAP. THE END I think the ppl that read this should watch the movie. THE MOVIE IS AWWWWWWWWWWesome!!!

This is a pretty old movie, but we watched it my elementary school. It was a wonderful plot, with determination and heartbreak all at the same time. The evil woman happens to be also the principal of alvins school in alvin and the chipmunks
