- Great musical! All Jack Kelley wants to do is go to Santa Fe. But newsies never get anywhere in life, and his minimum-wage job isn't helping. He's got no place to stay, and the last thing he needs is for the papes' prices to be raised, so he begins a strike to get the prices back down. With betrayals, broken promises, and a bit of romance, this movie is great for a bucket of buttery popcorn!
- i liked this movie but i was kinda confused with the characters and what was happening for certain parts.
- Go on the opportunity of a lifetime as stunning Jack Kelly leads the News' boys strike to raise awareness for the poor working boys of New York. As world-famous Pulitzer raised the charge price for the papers, the newsies complained because they had no rights over these changes. Their leader, Jack, organizes them to create a Newsies strike and gets all the local areas such as Harlem, Queens, and Brooklyn together to fight against the rights of the innocent children.
