hated it - just another "modern remake" of E.T. The plot was not well-planned and the entire time the screen shook (it is supposed to look like the kids are filming it on their phones) and it gave me a headache from all the shaking. A lot of characters turned out to be just plain irritating and served no purpose in the movie.

The kids aren't filming it on their phones! They are filming on Tuck's cameras, and when it shakes, they have dropped it!

Warning! This review contains spoilers! There're 3 boys and they're all best friends. But there's going to be a road (or something) built through the town they live in, so they all have to move. But before they move, a lot of people's phones start acting weird. The boys figure out that the phones are showing a map. So, as they're last adventure together, the boys decide to follow the map. What I thought of it: Well, I liked all of the male protagonist. But the girl (Emma or something) was just plain irritating. I mean she just pushes her way into their adventure, acts like a total jerk to everyone, behaves recklessly, but yet she's still always right about everything. I know the scene with her parents was supposed to give her character more depth (or whatever), but it failed miserably. She still just remained an annoying brat, who everyone loves just because she's "pretty". Not to mention the fact that the movie would have been just as good without her. I mean she really wasn't necessary. Why does every single movie have to add a love interest when half the time, they don't add anything to the plot? But despite that, it was a decent movie. It was kind of sad though. I actually cried a little at the end. Overall, it was a pretty good movie.
