The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is an amazing movie and book ( I recommend you read the book before you watch the movie). It features unexpected friendships and amazing adventures. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was made in 2012, it's a fantasy ( through and through ) and adventure film adapted from the 1937 book, The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien.I recommend this movie because it's really interesting and it has some sword fights and action. However I would not recommend this movie if you don't like creepy creatures like Gollum, the horrifying creature that will haunt your dreams.

A brilliant movie from the director of the Lord of the Rings. In the first movie, Bilbo Baggins goes a long way from the shire, battling orcs, goblins and trolls.

Both the book and movie are amazingly creative! J.R.R Tolkien was the writer of this fantastic book, he used his imagination to come up with his own characters. Even though this book is an amazing piece of literature, there is still much violence involved in the plot. I highly recommnd this book to higher level readers, who can tolerate fighting and blood!
